AKHAL TEKE'
Akhal Tekè was born in 2015 out of the inspiration of Gaia Ghetti and Benedetta Bolognesi, who share a passion for refined elegance. The brand name is inspired by his majesty Akhal Tekè, the golden horse, the most beautiful and ancient horse on earth, ridden by emperors and Amazonians. From the prosperous oasis in the middle of Kara Kum desert, the Akhal Valley in Turkmenistan, this paradise is the land of the Turkmen tribe, the Tekè, famous for their beautiful and high-quality embroideries and jewels, which are also used to decorate horses. The young designers’ project creates a unique line of flat shoes with handmade embroidery as a dominant theme and everything ‘Made in Italy’.
